Asayake

I drew Acrylic Paint for "DIDO Acrylic Paint Workshops in Sapporo ICC"



She got up early this morning. And, she went to a favorite flower garden.



When she arrived at the flower garden, the flower of the pink color was full-bloomed. And, the Asayake (morning glow) was beautiful. Her cheek was like the morning glow.

The group exhibition "LA MYTH" of the artist involved in the animation industry of California is held with MeltGalley of Los Angeles in 7-22, February 2009.

I reserved the participation invitation from Denise"Dee"Chavez who is Co-Curator of this exhibition and my sweet friend :)

MeltGallery that becomes the hall of this exhibition is inside of MeltdownComics. This Store is very popular Comic Store in California.

I painted four arts for this exhibition.

Peace Christmas Exhibition 2008

Hi folks,
I participated in "Peace Christmas Exhibition 2008" that had been held in Sapporo.



This exhibition has aimed at "The illustrator sends the message of peace with the work". I made the groundwork like the snow on a square canvas. The cat drawn by the acrylic color has the tail of the umbrella like the Christmas tree.

DIDO (Doodler and Illustrator Discovery Organization) of My Organization hold nu exhibition today!
it's "DIDO25 Fictional Advertising Poster Exhibition"


illustration and design : Marina Abe.


the exhibit hall is ODORI ART MUSEUM of histricul place of Sapporo.


This is our exhibition area. I made the logo of DIDO and the character of the event title.


This exhibition has aimed to make the advertisement of fictitious that uses the
illustration drawn for myself.
I exhibited nine works.


These are ads poster of COFFEE SHOP "MODERN COFFEE". I made Series posters.
"This shop is a historicul and populer coffee Shop in Sapporo since 1968."

Broken SK8 board Art

Hello Folks, How are you?
Sorry for longtime no update.
I'm OK. but still little busy everyday.

I made nu art with broken skate board.

a. Broken Sk8 board....

c. Cleaning....
I used Paint Remover


And, this is a cleaned sk8 board.


d. Base (Primer) Paint
I used White Gesso


e. Mount parts of board


f. Frame
This sk8 board is not light like usual painting materials. Therefore, I made the base that was able to be mounted firmly.


g. and These are finished work fotos.
After all drawing had ended, the surface was clearly coated.

Sketch Crawl #18

Hi everybody!!
Sapporo SC was done.

today was bad weather here!
SNOW!! super COLD!!
then, we did move to Subway station of underground.



This is Mister Donut also that is the meeting spot.
Today is not good weather, but 3 member came today!



Here is a meeting place at the subway Odori station.
This place is the best place to sketch people.
Because waiting people do not move for about three minutes. hahaha



We stayed in one place.
Because the model changes places at intervals of about three minutes.
Therefore, we did not have to reshuffle it.

after SC, we hold Drawing Session at my studio.
